Are you concerned about unpleasant surprises that may show up in your neighborhood, surprises like a huge rock quarry or a multi-acre gas station? Are you concerned about the impact on your own quality of life such surprises may entail, like increased noise, lights, and traffic, perhaps a downward dive to your property values? And what about the impact on the environment? Such concerns are of special interest to the many area residents who live in unincorporated areas. <br /><br />LWV Comal Area and the Tye Preston Memorial Library(TPML) are hosting a lunch and learn public forum about county authority on land use on Wednesday, November 16, from 12 noon to 1:30pm at TPML, 16311 S Access Rd, Canyon Lake, TX 78133.
