LWVCA in Action

National Voter Registration Day 2026: Thank you to all LWVCA members who helped GOTV at the many events we participated in on National Voter Registration Day, September 15th. It was a busy day for the League across counties and in many different locations.

Garden Ridge Voter Registration and

Kids' Pet Election

We enjoyed meeting our neighbors and seeing our old friends at Garden Ridge on September 19.

Clemens High School Voter Registration

Clemens Students were treated to a presentation, stickers and a presentation on September 18.

New Braunfels High School Voter Registration

New Braunfels' new cafeteria was the location for this year's presentation and voter registration drive. League members also registered students at the Comal ISD high school campuses.

Fall Members Meeting: LWVCA members attended our annual Membership Meeting. It was great to gather and share exciting opportunities for the upcoming election season event calendar.

An Evening with the Voting Machines: LWVCA Volunteer Services VP Becky Waguespack coordinated with the Comal County Elections office to provide an interactive voter Q & A, where community members got hands on practice with the voting machines used during the elections.

Thanks to our Volunteers! We've had a busy month registering voters, giving presentations, and answering questions across Guadalupe and Comal Counties. We appreciate ALL of our volunteers. Thanks also to Cynthia Jacqua and local election judges for helping with the Evening with the Voting Machines. You all are awesome!!!

The Membership Meeting. I enjoyed seeing everyone at the Fall Membership Meeting. It was a lot of fun, and we all learned a lot! In our next issue, we will feature some of our many donors that made our basket raffle a success.
